Game Day Spiced Nuts and Pretzels

Ingredients
  

  • 2 cups mixed nuts cashews, pecans, almonds
  • 2 cups mini pretzels
  • 3 tablespoons unsalted butter melted
  • 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
  • 2 tablespoons brown sugar
  • 1 teaspoon smoked paprika
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon cayenne pepper
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon cumin

Method
 

  1. Preheat oven to 325°F (165°C). Line a large baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. Whisk melted butter, Worcestershire sauce, and brown sugar together in a large bowl.
  3. Add nuts and pretzels. Toss to coat evenly. Sprinkle in paprika, garlic powder, cayenne, cumin, and salt. Toss again.
  4. Spread in a single layer on the prepared baking sheet.
  5. Bake 20–25 minutes, stirring halfway, until golden and fragrant.
  6. Let cool completely on the pan — they crisp up as they cool. Store in an airtight container up to 2 weeks.

Notes

Add a cup of M&Ms or dried cranberries after cooling for a sweet-savory party mix twist.
