Yogurt Parfait Cups

Layered yogurt feels deliberate — even if you assembled it in ninety seconds while simultaneously answering a math homework question. The crunch and the cream balance like a small daily win you did not know you needed.

My daughter went through a phase where she refused every snack I offered. Crackers? No. Apple slices? Absolutely not. But the day I put yogurt in a clear glass with layers of berries and granola and called it a parfait? She acted like I had presented her with a restaurant dessert. Same ingredients she had been rejecting all week, just stacked prettily.

Presentation matters, apparently, even to a six-year-old. Now we make these together and she takes full creative control over the layering. Sometimes there is more granola than yogurt. Sometimes every berry is a blueberry. It is always perfect.

Yogurt Parfait Cups

Layered Greek yogurt with fresh berries, crunchy granola, and a honey drizzle. Beautiful, healthy, and ready in minutes.
Prep Time 5 minutes
Total Time 5 minutes
Servings: 4 parfaits

Ingredients

  • 2 cups Greek yogurt plain or vanilla
  • 1 cup mixed fresh berries strawberries, blueberries, raspberries
  • 1 cup granola your favorite variety
  • 2 tbsp honey or maple syrup for drizzling
  • Fresh mint leaves for garnish optional

Method

  1. Gather 4 glasses, mason jars, or clear cups. The visual layers are half the appeal.
  2. Spoon 2 tablespoons of yogurt into the bottom of each cup.
  3. Add a layer of berries, then a layer of granola.
  4. Repeat the layers: yogurt, berries, granola. End with berries on top.
  5. Drizzle honey or maple syrup over each parfait. Add a mint leaf if you are feeling fancy.
  6. Serve immediately for maximum crunch, or refrigerate for up to 2 hours (the granola will soften slightly but it is still delicious).

Notes

For meal prep, store the granola separately and add it just before eating to keep it crunchy. Mason jar parfaits with granola on the side make a great grab-and-go breakfast too.
