Sunrise Sunset Smoothie

A vibrant two-toned smoothie layered with tropical mango and antioxidant-rich berry. Beautiful, refreshing, and naturally sweetened.

Ingredients
  

Sunset Layer (Mango)
  • 1.5 cups frozen mango chunks
  • 1/2 cup orange juice
  • 1/2 cup plain Greek yogurt
  • 1 tablespoon honey
Sunrise Layer (Berry)
  • 1.5 cups frozen mixed berries
  • 1/2 cup coconut milk or almond milk
  • 1 tablespoon honey

Method
 

  1. Blend the mango layer: combine frozen mango, orange juice, Greek yogurt, and honey. Blend until completely smooth. Pour into glasses filling halfway.
  2. Rinse the blender. Blend the berry layer: combine frozen berries, coconut milk, and honey until smooth.
  3. Slowly pour the berry layer over the back of a spoon held just above the mango layer to create distinct color bands.
  4. Serve immediately. Garnish with fresh fruit or a slice of orange on the rim.

Notes

For a thick smoothie that holds its layers well, make sure both layers are fully frozen and blended thick before layering.
